15. High School Activities Department Manager
Decorah High School is seeking a full-time, Activities Department Manager to support the HS
Activities Director with the management of all HS Activities Programs. This includes assisting
with the set-up of activities, maintenance of files, management of correspondence, data, and
related financial documents. Candidates must possess strong interpersonal communication
skills and the ability to work with HS Office Team members, coaches, activity sponsors, and
students. Candidates must also be proficient in Microsoft and Google Suite and have a
working knowledge of digital data-base systems. In day-to-day operations, candidates must
also be able to multi-task and manage varied responsibilities while answering phones and
greeting visitors. Work hours may be varied and include weekend and evening commitments
as needed.
Educational Requirements: Candidates must have at least two years of specialized training
beyond high school. A four-year degree in Communications, Marketing, Sports Management,
or related discipline preferred. Related Experience: Two years' experience working with
activity programs or other professional setting.
